Businesses or agencies that educate the public on a specific health or social topic or problem may apply to display an exhibit at a community health fair. Exhibitors are encouraged to be interactive, involving participants in the learning process. Education is the goal of the fair, so sales and solicitations are strictly prohibited. Exhibitors with major focus on religion, politics, or products are prohibited.
If you would like to be on our mailing list for exhibitors, you can contact any of our regional offices.
The Early Spring 2010 Health Fairs have been scheduled. We invite you to submit an application to provide health education in our communities. Please check back for more dates.
The purpose of a Health Fair is to provide early detection of health problems and to increase health awareness in all Alaskans through screenings and education.
If you are interested in participating in any of the Health Fairs, please take the time to read over "Standards for Exhibitors," complete the application form and Waiver of Liability .
We will review your completed application and have the appropriate site coordinator(s) and respond to your request. Please note that submission of your application does not confirm selection at each site you have selected. Each site coordinator selects and confirms his/her health education participants.
Thank you so much for your time and dedication in sustaining Health Fairs in Alaska. Together, the work we all do has a powerful impact in affecting the well-being of our communities. Please call us if you have any questions at all.
We look forward to seeing you!
